Worst daughter ever?

Naa, I dont know what to call me. Pretty good daughter actually but a bit confused? Yep, that is probably the word for me. Confused.
I called my mom on a Sunday a few weeks ago and started to tell her how much I love her and "happy mother´s day"!!
She replied: Thanks Sweety, I really appreciate it but it is not Mothers Day today *lol*
Ok, I picked the wrong day. Whatever, it was still a nice gesture I thought and now I won´t forget to call on "real" Mother´s Day.
So I call her up on the Sunday 2 weeks after, and I tell her that she´s the best mom ever and that I love her.
She replies: *hahahahahahaha* - Thanks, Sweety! but it is STILL not Mother´s Day. Better luck next time.
I told her that I dont have to call her for 2 years now on that day. I made my point.
Then SHE calls ME on Sunday. Just small-talking and then hangs up the phone. After 10 min she calls me again and tells me "have you forgotten about Mother´s Day?" and I could see her big warm grin on her face through the phone.
OK, I did forget it and yes, it was very very funny and I'm retarded.
So when she finally told me, I pretended that I was the one calling her and started the conversation from the beginning "Hey my beloved mom... Happy Mother´s Day"
Useless.
I Love you, Mom. Every day. Not only on Mother´s Day
